Question: How do I get a license for this tool?
Answer: Two training sessions (2 x 2 hours) with tool responsible, before training the user should join a licensed user in order to gain some prior experience.
Question: What are the sample requirements?
Answer: The sample must be conductive, maximum size is 2" x a few mm (diameter x thickness). Powder or magnetic samples are NOT allowed and no outgassing samples!
Question: What are the recommended settings for acceleration voltage and working distance?
Answer: Acceleration voltage: 10-15 kV, working distance: 8 mm
Question: Can I bring and use my own sample holder?
Answer: No, only approved sample holders provided by LNL can be used.
